Martin Martinez

As a Personal Injury Attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law, Martin B. Attorney Martinez has experience in civil litigation and civil jury trials, consistently achieving favorable outcomes for his clients. Prior to joining Thomas J. Henry, Mr. Martinez practiced immigration law for over 2 years in Houston, Texas and achieved high recognition in the legal community for successfully representing clients in Federal Immigration Court and before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Mr. Martinez is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, and is an Attorney Member of the Texas Bar College—a professional society of legal scholars recognized for their commitment to legal education, ethical practice, and professional excellence.

Mr. Martinez was born in Weslaco, Texas (El Valle), is the son of Mexican immigrants and is fluent in both Spanish and English. Mr. Martinez was raised in the small town of Itasca, Texas and graduated in the Top 10% of his class. Mr. Martinez received a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Philosophy with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin. He was the first person in his extended family to graduate from a university. Mr. Martinez received honorary grades and consistently made the Dean’s List. While attending UT, Mr. Martinez was a Traveling Member of the UT Forensics Cross-Examination Debate Team and competed in National Collegiate Debate Tournaments as a Representative for the University of Texas at Austin. 

Mr. Martinez received a Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. While at WashU Law, Mr. Martinez received the CALI Award for Negotiation and Mediation, recognizing him as the individual with the highest grade in that area of law. Mr. Martinez was a Traveling Member of the Negotiations & Mediations Team. Mr. Martinez received many awards for his success at WashU Law, particularly in Pretrial Practice & Settlement, Practical Legal Writing & Analysis for Litigators, Complex Civil Litigation, Trial Practice and Procedure and Advanced Trial Advocacy. Moreover, Mr. Martinez was a Senior Trial Team Member and had the responsibility and privilege of traveling across the country to represent his law school in competitions against other highly disguised law schools.
